About This Role

consent.io is a small, high-trust startup currently made up of 2 people. We're building the most developer-friendly platform for privacy infrastructure and compliance. We’ve seen strong early traction through open-source adoption, developer buzz and real usage in production. We’re now growing the team to 5. This is an opportunity to join right at the beginning. You’ll define how we scale, combining community, developer relations and go-to-market into one clear path. You’ll work closely with the founder in a high-autonomy environment with high expectations. If you want to build something from scratch and have real ownership, this is your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategy for developer community and growth

• Build our early presence in meetups, online groups and technical content

• Launch features and products with clear messaging and feedback loops

• Champion ethical data practices and help position us as privacy leaders

• Work across product and engineering to close the loop between community and code

• Measure and improve reach, engagement and onboarding for developers

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in developer relations, product marketing or early go-to-market roles in B2B SaaS

• Clear examples of building community and developer engagement from scratch

• Strong writing and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

• Able to think strategically and execute quickly in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Worked in an early-stage startup or built something solo

• Worked in a startup that scaled from pre-seed or seed to Series A with under 10 team members

• Understanding of open-source communities and developer tools

• A personal interest in privacy, security or infrastructure

• Comfortable working closely with a founder and wearing multiple hats
